The Dreamy Prophets (and how they Lie)

The Dreamy Prophets:

The last days false prophets, and how they lie…

Jeremiah 23:18-40~

18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?

19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.

34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.

35 Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

36 And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

37 Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

38 But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;

39 Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:

40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

Lamentations 2:14 tell of the false burden these men lay on the people~

Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

Matthew 23:4~

For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Luke 11:46~

And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

A study on Grace and a warning about doctrines

God and the word of His grace…builds up and gives an inheritance

Acts 20:32~

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

2Peter 1:2~

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

It is the gospel of Christ.

Acts 20:24~

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Jesus Christ is the gift of salvation by God’s grace.

Romans 5:15~

But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Titus 2:11~

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

By it we are saved through faith.

Romans 5:2~

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Ephesians 2:8~

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Its not by ourselves… so be thankful giving glory to God

1Corinthians 1:4~

 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

2Corinthians 4:15~

For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

2Thessalonians 1:12~

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Doctrines VS Grace according to God:

Hebrews 13:9~

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Living under the grace of God as seen upon Jesus Christ as a child.

Luke 2:40~

And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.”

It is an on going event.

Acts 13:43~

Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Acts 14:26~

And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

Acts 15:40~

And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

It can be seen.

Acts 11:23~of Barnabas upon seeing the brethren in Antioch…

Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

It BUILDS UP…to bring forth fruit.

Colossians 1:6~

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

IT BUILDS UP… the Body of Christ.

1Corinthians 3:10~

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

Ephesians 3:7~

Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

2Corinthians 8:1~

Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

It BUILDS UP… by our testimony – We testify by it with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by fleshly wisdom

2Corinthians 1:12~

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

Ephesians 3:2~

If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

1Peter 5:12~

By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

It is a blessing we can pass on to others.

Romans 1:7~

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 16:20~

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

2Corinthians 9:14~

And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.

2John 1:3~

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

1Peter 1:2~

Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Consider others in the measure of faith that God has given them at this season as you have and had in days past. Lest ye be defiled by the root of bitterness growing troubles by living ignorantly.

Romans 12:3~

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Romans 15:15~

Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

Hebrews 12:15~

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Its not to be taken in vain

1Corinthians 15:10~

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

2Corinthians 6:1~

We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

Galatians 2:21~

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Hebrews 10:29~

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

The 3 bear witness to this- Grace of Jesus Christ, Love of God, and Communion of the Holy Ghost:

2Corinthians 13:14~

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. The second epistle to the Corinthians was written from Philippi, a city of Macedonia, by Titus and Lucas.

1Thessalonians 1:1;5~

1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

We should be good stewards of God’s grace.

1Peter 4:10~

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

God gives grace to the humble. He will perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you after the time of suffering. Jesus being the perfect example.

1Peter 5:5~

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

1Peter 5:10~

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Hebrews 2:9~

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Warning about grace converters – subtle ungodly men

Jude 1:4~

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Light ‘OF’ the world VS light ‘IN’ the world

Jesus Christ  is the light OF the world

John 8:12~

¶ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 9:5~

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

John 12:46~

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

Being IN the world, a true child of God desires to be a light IN the world and not be part of its darkness

Philippians 2:15~

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Our calling as believers…

Ephesians 5:7-14~

8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

…to take the light of Christ to the world and glorify our Father in Heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16~

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

My understanding – This light is not our own nor of any man, it is from God by His Son Jesus Christ, glorify God as His light shines on men.

The Mighty God – Psalm 50:1-6

Honor God for He is Great and Awesome! this song will herald God’s coming in the last days. Truly a wonderful blessing of a psalm, I cant explain the glorious upliftment I get from the words of this song every time I hear it, let alone sing it. Listen for yourself…

Psalm 501-6

play Psalm 50:1-6 ~ “The Mighty God”

@Sound Check> This is a newer recording this year. I know I have an older version somewhere but the song didn’t change much since it came to life. I posted, a while back, a version that had a mistake as I sang it and while I was reviewing it, noticed it immediately, so I posted this one without hesitation. I enjoy playing these songs all the time.

The Lord’s Guide to Prayer

If you are a professing true Christian and a follower of Jesus Christ, this is how Jesus himself tells us about how one should pray, so no matter what they tell you abide by these…

Matthew 6:5-8~

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

With the guide, He even gave us the model prayer to follow:

next verses 9-13~

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

He reiterates the forgiveness part in verses 14 and 15:

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

God VS Idols

There is only one God. His only image is Jesus Christ His Son.

Colossians 1:14~20

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

The other images and statues and pictures are of imposters, stay away from them. see Jeremiah 10:1~16

1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

7 Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.

10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

15 They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

16 The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.

Worshiping idols and images is utterly useless and vain. Some are still willingly ignorant about this, even kissing the idols that they worship. If only they read and study the Word of God.

Hosea 13:2~

And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

The true identity of these ‘gods’:

Deuteronomy 32:16-18~

16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

also 1Corinthians 10:19-21~

19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

The enemy’s game in doing this is to make blind the lost – see 2 Corinthians 4:4~

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Seeking and Finding God

Seeking and Finding God:
WHEN? – Early
Proverbs 8:17~

” I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.”

HOW? – With all your heart and soul…

Jeremiah 29:13~

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

also Deuteonomy 4:29~

“But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.”

…And with prayer and supplications, with fasting and sackloth and ashes (describes a humbled spirit)…

see Daniel 9:3~

“And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:”

WHY Seek God?

WHY? because you need Him…

Psalms 63:1~

“A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; “

WHY? because God pardons those who have hearts ready to seek Him…

2 Chronicles 30:18-20~

18 “For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one
19 That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.

20 And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.”

WHY? because it changes you…

2Chronicles 34:3~

“For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images.”

WHY? because there is a reward…

Psalms 69:6~

“Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.”

Psalm 69:32~

“The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.”

WHY? because its the best decision to make…

1Chronicles 28:9~

“And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.”

also 2Chronicles 15:13~

“That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.”

Seek God with all your heart  and soul right now!

Biblical testimony of why KJV is the authentic word of God

It is necessary and in fact very critical to read about the King James Only issue as it pertains to the food for your spirit. Its like food for the body, there’s a good reason why you don’t eat rotten food or poison as you know its harmful to your health. Similarly, the food for our spirit should be pure, free from leaven – untainted, un-mingled with worldly influence and man’s doctrines and ideologies. It should be free from the corruption of unclean hands and poisonous lies intentionally put in by evil men with worldly, corrupt  and wicked agendas. For we know they have subtly “crept in unawares” since the early beginnings. This is why we need to be aware of what we read and decide which bible to put our trust on.

First of all, God is able to preserve His word and so we have it now with us, just as our forefathers always had it before…

see Psalm 12:6-7~

6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Where to expect its going to come from?

Acts 11:26~

“And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.”

Who may we expect to publish it?

Psalm 68:11~

“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.”

Fact#1: there’s a huge amount of manuscripts supporting the textus receptus (TR) which came from Antioch, the indicator of true bible nesting grounds, the word ‘Christian’ being coined for the first time there. The KJV is derived from that same TR text. The preservation of the texts and the multitude of identical works are indeed witnessing with each other the fulfillment of the promise of God to preserve His word forever.

Fact#2:  The Authorized King James Version has survived for 400 years since its release in 1611. It was the era where the English language was reaching its grandure, a time of literature in its peak. Later, some of the original old English words’ spellings would change though the form and essence of the words themselves and their meanings remain the same, preserved all through the centuries.  Being the last major English translation that came directly from the uncorrupted text, it is witnessed by not only a handful but many collaborating translations before it (after being meticulously stripped of all the denominational and political nuances that they previously carried), the translators stuck to only the exact word meanings of the then existent manuscripts and set aside the various political influences from corrupting the very text. This purification of the words and the preservation of its true equivalence to the text has been wrought to provide us with the pure word of God in English. And this Bible never changed, it never contradicted itself, never proven wrong and yes, the same word meanings are still relevant today. Why settle for the newer ones coming out in the modern day which are heavily stained by contradictions, errors and raise doubts about the purity of its translators not to mention its source. Here’s an eye opener – the Authorized King James version or AKJV is the only one that will stand out against the rest of the modern translated bibles combined -on issues that deal with: the Diety of Christ, the Identity of the devil, the path to Salvation and the presence of the Spirit of God in it.

Simple tests: compare the all other bibles with the AKJV on these verses (from OT to NT)-

  1. Test of the identity of the fourth person in the Fiery Furnace: Daniel 3:25: “He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” the modern bibles have “…son of the gods…” but even ol’ Neb knew who the fourth person was… next verse (26 ) says “Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.” Don’t ever let the critics tell you Nebuchadnezzar didn’t know better who Jesus was, he very well did.
  2. Test of the identity of the one who fell from Heaven: Isaiah 14:12: “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! ” on the other hand, the other bibles did 2 things- 1.) hide Satan by removing his name ‘Lucifer’ and 2.) put in ‘Day Star’ something that is attributed to Jesus Christ in 2Peter 1:19: “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: ” talk about double jeopardy on this one!
  3. Test of having the true Spirit of God in it: 1John 4: “2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” Here the other bibles remove “come in the flesh” in the verse that describes the spirit of antichrist. Devious but they shot themselves on the foot, I guess they cant help admitting it. You don’t have to go to bible school to figure out which bible has the true Spirit of God.
  4. Test of the way to Salvation: Acts 8:37: “And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” The other bibles just gutted this out of its pages, why??? this is the very salvation of our souls! the only thing that really matters.
  5. Test of the Bible being inspired by God thru holy men: 2Peter 1:21:  “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” In other versions, the ‘holy’ in holy men is gone, these other bibles were done by, logically speaking, un-holy-men.

Fact#3: The oldest publishing house and oldest university press still in existence today is Cambridge. These are the same folks who carry the corrected, shall we say, more exact typography (no mistakes, proper spelling, all correct text) of the King James Bible. Get the Pure Cambridge Edition of the KJV. The acid test include the following verses:

1. “or Sheba” not “and Sheba” in Joshua 19:2
2. “sin” not “sins” in 2 Chronicles 33:19
3. “Spirit of God” not “spirit of God” in Job 33:4
4. “whom ye” not “whom he” in Jeremiah 34:16
5. “Spirit of God” not “spirit of God” in Ezekiel 11:24
6. “flieth” not “fleeth” in Nahum 3:16
7. “Spirit” not “spirit” in Matthew 4:1
8. “further” not “farther” in Matthew 26:39
9. “bewrayeth” not “betrayeth” in Matthew 26:73
10. “Spirit” not “spirit” in Mark 1:12
11. “spirit” not “Spirit” in Acts 11:28
12. “spirit” not “Spirit” in 1 John 5:8

The unimaginable Greatness of God

Among some of the ‘mysterious’ verses of the Bible, this one has been part of many debates that usually come in creation VS evolution circles and so it is indeed a curious verse that can be interpreted in ways that can either become an enlightenment or a point of confusion (much have been attributed to the latter).

I have proven to myself through the years that I have been reading the word of God, that His word is without error and learned that God reveals His message in season. I hope to share this for the verse in question: 2Peter 3:8

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

If you notice, the above statement comes as a warning. It is important that we be not ignorant of this truth that our one day is as a thousand years with the Lord and similarly so it implies, a thousand years is a mere day to Him.

I call this verse with the preceding verses from 1-7 as – the “unimaginable Greatness of God”.

You see our one day’s worth of events, seems like a thousand years to God in our perspective – seeing the works of His hands in a lot of details just to get though one day. We sometimes observe it or even ponder about how our day unfolded, but mind you we miss a whole lot of things going on in the background without our awareness they’re even taking place. Think about the workings of each sub atomic particles in our cells, to the movement of blood in our veins, the functioning of our organs, to the processing of information of our brains which forms our minds, senses, etc.; to the digestion of the food we eat, air flow through inhaling and exhaling, the growing of tiny hairs on our skin. Then think about each visible and invisible creatures in and outside our body – the single and multi-celled organisms in the water and the airborne ones, even the reproductive cells and symbiotic organisms, their systems are so complex. Think about the earth’s atmosphere, the weather cycles, , the laws of Physics working with consistency and rhythm, the unchanging cycles of this world. Every event that happens in a day of this life cannot be explained in a day, not even a few years. In our own body, we haven’t figured out a lot of things yet, let alone the rest of everything outside it, even this understanding is a gift from God.

Ecclesiastes 8:17~

“Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea farther; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.”

Maybe these things don’t matter or are unimportant to you. But either way, we practically cannot fathom the vastness of our world let alone the greatness of the Creator. Think about the planets and the stars and the galaxies and the universe. All in one day, God makes their little events happen all in harmony and balance.

Tomorrow, we can only hope that things will go on as we perceive it. If we were in our right minds, we’d pray that God continues to be gracious to us in each day. Don’t ever forget that apart from the physical, He works in each of us by rearing us to maturity in the faith, helping us along the way, to understand His ways, dealing with our struggles, our disobedience, disciplining us when we become boastful and proud. By His mercy and grace , He leads us to salvation and we live and have our being. With His patience, He bears our lack of faith in spite of the many times we’ve proven Him over and over. We still fall by our disobedience to His will. Relying in the futility of our efforts to please Him, we stumble. He has longsuffering and love for us.

This is the God we serve.  Don’t you think we need to surrender to Him everything and believe in Him, depend on Him. Afterall, He’s the one who decides when all of these goodness will come to an end. In the end of our day, we realize only God  can do all these things. In the beginning, He created everything. In six days he did. To us it seems thousands of years. That’s truly how great God is and we haven’t even scratched the surface.

P.S. You know its funny as others think it even took billions of years:)

P.S.#2 – Conversion exercise: since 1 day =1000 yrs. and being that God made everything in 6 days before he ‘rested’, now the earth is 6,000 yrs old; maybe this work is also close to being completed and “God’s rest” is finally coming pretty soon and we are being reminded about this. See the whole scripture lesson below:

2Peter 3:1-8~

1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

God bless your soul today. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
