Martha Beware! – A message to the missionaries of the world

Martha beware: If your’e a missionary for Christ working in His ministry somewhere in the outskirts of the harshest places on earth and you’re wondering why there’s a burden in your heart, listen to the Lord’s words:

Revelation 2:18-29~

18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

28 And I will give him the morning star.

29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Above is very well the message for the servants of the Lord who are pure in their hearts full of servitude, hard work and sacrifice, burdened by the love of God for the people they serve to see salvation. But some are either unaware or unmindful of the depth of corruption around them: This is for missionaries working side by side with false religions in afflicted areas where all denominations of religious groups and ministries and social assistance are at work. Patience and faith is there but Martha need to sit by Jesus now and proclaim His words to the world, that’s what were here for. ¬†Alongside you in your mission are wolves in sheep’s clothing, false teachers taking advantage of the weak in spirit, who care less about the soul so long as the body lives, the bible tells us: “For he that soweth in the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” – Galatians 6:13

Here’s the story of Martha: Luke 10:38-42

38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.

40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
