1Timothy 6:17-21

Message to the Rich

To the rich: A teaching of who to trust, how to think, what to do and a warning of what to avoid.
Read 1Timothy 6:

17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

The first to Timothy was written from Laodicea, which is the chiefest city of Phrygia Pacatiana.

Most of the rich folks that I know when asked about God and the spiritual aspects of life and Salvation, tend to hide behind the veil of so called “science”. They put their trust in the wisdom of man about his surroundings. But it is known that a lot of what we call science is not really science but a mere plethora of theories and suppositions that have either been proven wrong before or has never been observed in the physical sense but they’re called as such because the men who studied them believe in a world view that life created itself, that there’s no God. They proclaim the knowledge that they have to be truly complicated and understanding is only achieved by learned individuals and scholars like them who have spent a lot of time studying the matter. Here in the Bible, we have been warned of the oppositions of the “Science falsely so-called”, part of the warning to the rich.
